Arrival Instructions
If you are taking a taxi, tell the driver you are going to Akumal and show him the included map. If you have rented a car to drive to Akumal from the Cancun airport, go south on highway 307 approximately 60 miles. You will see the turn off to the Akumal Resort (The white cement wall on the left side of the road). Turn left here. After passing through the arches at the entrance to Akumal, there is an immediate fork in the road. Make a left turn here. Follow this road and drive a couple of miles to Hacienda de la Tortuga. It will be on the Left. Once at the Hacienda de la Tortuga, go up the stairs at the entrance to the reception office at the top. Ask for Roberto and present your documents. The office hours are 8:00am - 9:00pm. If you are arriving after office hours please notify us in advance.
